Capo Verde
Cape Verde is a volcanic archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Senegal. Made up of ten main islands, it offers a remarkable diversity of landscapes, from volcanoes and lush valleys to rugged cliffs, black-sand beaches and coastlines shaped by the trade winds. Rising to 2,829 metres, Pico do Fogo dominates the island of Fogo and stands as a reminder that the archipelago was born from fire before being sculpted by the ocean.
Shaped by centuries of isolation, Cape Verde has developed a unique cultural identity where African and European influences blend harmoniously. Through these photographs, I invite you to discover a few moments from this captivating archipelago, where nature, the ocean and Creole culture come together in an atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
